Vineyard – Cottonwood Partners recently closed on the acquisition of 45 acres of land just north of the Larry H. Miller Megaplex site. Cottonwood plans to develop the project as a mixed use site with an emphasis on office space, some residential and retail providing residents the opportunity to live, work, and play.
“Having Cottonwood Partners join us as a developer on our site is an honor. Their organization has a proven track record of building successful developments such as the 1 million square foot Cottonwood Corporate Center just off I-215 and 6200 South,” said Stewart Park, Anderson- Geneva Project Manager. “Cottonwood Partners’ site is a key component to the success of the Geneva Master-Planned community and will be an excellent compliment to the Megaplex Theatres and other developments already underway. Combined with the future mass transit options and improved road access, we see a vibrant future ahead.”
Cottonwood Partners is in the process of developing site plans which will need to be approved by Vineyard Town before any dirt can be turned over.
“We are in the preliminary planning stages of what we believe is a unusual opportunity to build at Geneva. Utah County continues to grow at a tremendous rate and the culture is evolving. We believe that gives us an opportunity to build a mixed use project that will appeal to this changing culture and set us apart from other opportunities exist there.” said John L. West, CEO of Cottonwood Partners.
